Moyale Recalls Veteran Players

As the second round of the Tnm superleague is about to kickoff on Saturday, Moyale Barracks football team has recalled veteran players to boost the squad.

These players were chopped and loaned earlier this year.

Speaking on Wednesday Team Manager for Moyale Barracks Victor Phiri said this has happened because of the team’s dismal performance shown in the first round of the league.

“Yes that’s true we recalled veteran players namely Ntopijo Njewa, Chrispine Fukizi and Boy Chima, and these players joined the squad on Tuesday and I can confirm that they have started training and we hope to see good results in second round of the league,” said Phiri.

He also added that there are some new faces in the squad that will be featured in the second league.

Moyale Barracks loaned out Ntopijo Njewa, Juma Chikwenga, Oles Nkhwazi, and others to Chilumba Barracks early this year.

Moyale is on position 9 with 17 points in the elite league, and start second round at home on Saturday 23 July, against Mighty Wakawaka Tigers.
