Passport hitches could affect Kumwembe’s fortune
Civil Service United forward Christopher Jacama Kumwembe is at risk of missing the opportunity to undergo trials with Black Leopards in South Africa due to travel documents as the department of immigration and Citizenship has been hit by technical challenges. The department has stopped issuing passports.
However, Civil Service United General Secretary said they are working hard to have his travelling documents ready.
“All things being equal, he should travel to South Africa on Friday. We are working hard to ensure that we process all the travelling documents in time,” times Sports quoted.
Kumwembe who is arguably the best in dribbling past the defenders in Super League said he was upbeat that his passport will be out as the club is running up and down working on the matter.
Kumwembe will join former Mighty Wanderers midfielder, Radiq Namwera should he emerge successful in his two-week trails.
