More Acb cases are related to procurement
The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has disclosed that almost 70 percent of corruption cases it is investigating are related to procurement processes.
The bureau’s Director General Martha Chizuma disclosed this in Lilongwe during the Africa Anti- Corruption day public debate.
Chizuma says the cases are arising from the breach of procurement procedures and they have currently intensified effective vetting process.
One of the participants Stella Gondwe,stressed the need for public institutions to uphold principles that can address corruption cases.
