The interim Coach for Sable Farming, MacDonald Nginde Mtetemera says the Chiradzulu-based side, Sable Farming are eager to take maximum points as his team faces the League leaders, Nyasa Big Bullets at Kamuzu Stadium, Blantyre in the 2022 Super League.

Sable Farming sit 14 on the table with 11 points from 13 games and they are 27 points behind their opponets, but Nginde says he has arsenals to stun Kalisto Pasuwa’s boys this afternoon.

“It’s a tough game, Bullets is a good side compared to the previous game against Karonga United on Sunday. I know their type of play, they do press hard and surely this will be a good game.

” We are just coming up from the trash so we have polished up everything, I know we will have a very good game and collect maximum points at the end of the day.”

Mtetemera admitted that the shift of the game from Saturday to Friday has not affected his charges.

“We are not affected by Super League of Malawi’s plan to shift the game to Friday due to Cosafa’s flight logistics for the national team players. This will not affect my team, we signed 30 players though it will not be healthy for players who have just been rested for a single day for them to recover from the long trip. We will try as much as possible to collect maximum points.”

Nginde who replaced Joseph Malizan said he has told his boys to score goals, and defend well.

Nyasa Big Bullets assistant coach, Peter Mponda said they will not underrate Sable Farming as they are looking to finish the first round on a positive note.

“It will be a good game as we are facing a good team. In their last games, they showed that they can cause an upset. They are fighting for their survival but we need to finish the first round on a positive note.

“We are still building a team, so we don’t put them (players) under pressure and we are very far from finishing our project of building a team.”

Mponda added that John Lanjesi and Alick Lungu will miss the clash due to injuries.

Sable Farming are coming from a draw against Karonga United in Karonga while Nyasa Big Bullets are on a 9-wins streak and they are yet to sniff a defeat this season.

The two teams met in a pre-season friendly and Sable Farming beat Nyasa Big Bullets 2-1.

A victory will take Sable Farming out of the relegation zone while for Bullets, a 11-point gal will be open over Blue Eagles should they manage to beat Sable.
