FDH to provide Regional Teams with Sports Equipment

FDH Bank Pls who is the official sponsor of the FDH Bank Cup has vowed to assist regional teams who have managed to reach the national level with Sports Equipment such as Balls and Jerseys.

Speaking after the National draw yesterday in Blantyre, FDH Bank marketing director Levi Nkunika said the company will bail out the regional clubs so they prepare well for their games in the tournament.

Nkunika said, “We have prepared to provide regional teams with jerseys, shots, Balls and K500,000.”

Nkunika added that the company is happy that the tournament has started on a good note in its second season.

“We are happy that the tournament has started well and we are more than happy that upheavals are not happening in stadiums. This will help our customers to watch games without any problems,” said Nkunika.

Football Association of Malawi General Secretary, Alfred Gunda commended FDH Bank for the gesture.

“FDH Bank Cup helps to excavate raw talent as it gives chance to the regional teams to compete with the top clubs,” said Gunda.

Fam and FDH Bank Officials conducted the draw for both rounds of 32 and 16. Games are expected to start on July 2, 2022.

Silver Strikers are the reigning champions of the tournament as they won it last season after beating Ekwendeni Hammers, 2-0 with Frank Banda and Stain Davie on the score sheet.
