Dedza Stadium Ready to be used
Jubiliant faces are seen in Dedza’s soccer fraternities as they are about to start watching the Malawi’s elite League particularly their home team, Dedza Dynamos playing at home.
According to reports, Dedza Dynamos are expected to host Ekwendeni Hammers this weekend at Dedza Stadium as Dedza Council declares the stadium ready to host matches, though they are yet to finish some maintanance.
Dedza Dynamos have been playing away from home, most of the time, they have been using Balaka Stadium as their home ground as Dedza Stadium was closed.
The rookies General Secretary, Mabvuto Mgode, said playing at home will help to catalyze the momentum and boosting morale in their camp.
Mgode said, “We will start using Dedza Stadium against Ekwendeni Hammers. The stadium is ready.
“Playing at home gives an advantage to the hosts as they play with 12 players, that is including supporters.”
Dedza Dynamos sit 13th on the 16-member Log table with 12 points from 11 games.
