Idana is Bullet’s May player of the Month

Nyasa Big Bullets supporters have voted for Chimwemwe Idana as their Hubertus Clausius player of the month for May.

The maestro midfielder was nominated for the awards alongside the duo defenders, Precious Sambani and Kesten Simbi.

Idana scored two goals and an assist for the team in May and helped the team to go top of the 16-team Top-flight League’s table with 32 points.

He scored against Red Lions in a game that Bullets won 2-0 and also against Rumphi United in a game that the People’s team won by four goals to one.

For the individual accolade, Chimwemwe Idana will be receive K100,000 and a Hubertus Clausius minurture.

He and his team will return in action on Saturday afternoon as they will be taking on Mighty Waka Waka Tigers at Kamuzu Stadium in tnm Super League.

The award will be presented to him on the match day.
