Khomba granted bail
The High Court has released on bail Clifford Khomba, a man who is alleged to have deliberately hit four traffic officers on duty in Blantyre two weeks ago.
Justice Vikochi Chima, in his ruling, has ordered the police to release Khomba who was arrested on 16th May 2022 after he allegedly committed the offence in Blantyre.
Khomba is said to have driven the car and hit the traffic officers after he got angry as officers were asking him some traffic questions.
The officers were rushed to Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital where the two of them were treated for serious injuries.
