Three points will be at stake Saturday afternoon at Chiwembe’s Mpira Stadium, as Moyale Barracks FC leave their northern region base to face Sable Farming in the TNM Super League.

Sable dropped all the points last weekend away to Rumphi United and would love to make good use of their home advantage over Moyale to rescuscitate their season.
Moyale on the other hand, will be hoping to record two straight league wins for the first time this season, after a comfortable 2-0 home win over Karonga United.

The battle of the teams in the first round of the league is becoming hot as every team wants to finish in the top 8, and be part of this year’s Airtel Top 8 Cup.

In an interview Moyale Barracks Coach Prichard Mwansa said he aims for nothing but a victory in Blantyre.

“We are always ready and we want to play for points, Sable Farming is also a good side and we do not have to underrate them because we are playing away, but in the end we have to be victorious,” said Mwansa.

On his part Sable Farming coach Joseph Malizani said he told his players to forget the past and focus on the future after a disappointing outing last weekend.

“We lost our last game and this is another game altogether we still keep on fighting despite that against Moyale be another tough one. However, we are going to carry the day,” he said.

Sable will go into this match while rooted in the relegation zone, as they have so far amassed five points from seven games, while Moyale are 10nth on the league standings with 10 points from 10 matches.
