Police boss pledged to support Blue Eagles FC

The Inspector General of Police Dr. George Kainja has this morning pledged to support Blue Eagles FC more and more, following the Team’s exploits in the TNM Super League this far.

The remarks were made at an interface meeting he held with the Team at Nankhaka Stadium.

Speaking on behalf of the players, Captain Schumacher Kuwali thanked the IG for the timely visit, stressing that it will go along way in motivating the team further.

However, the Captain was quick to say if the Team is to keep maintaining the same pace there is equally a need on the part of management to keep motivating the players in various ways, citing promotions of Police players, employment of civilian players into the MPS in various capacities and upward adjustment of upkeep allowances and game bonuses.

Taking his turn to speak, the IG said he is encouraged by the Team’s exploits and promised the players that he will seriously look into their welfare.

The IG signed off by encouraging the eagles to fly further in the blue sky, making a monetary boost to every individual player in the process.
