Malawi Bureau of Standards (MBS) and Media Institute of Southern Africa (Misa) Malawi Chapter have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) through which journalists are expected to amplify issues on quality and standards.

MBS will be awarding journalists who write impactful stories regarding quality and standards and increase awareness of the institution and its mandate.

Misa-Malawi chairperson Teresa Ndanga has said the partnership will motivate the scribes to do more and provide the nation with reliable information.

Through the MoU, MBS will be supporting the media awards with K2.1 million every year
