Malawi VP update the nation on US engagements
Vice President Dr Saulos Chilima has updated the nation as promised about his engagements in the United States of America.
Based on what he has posted on his Facebook page, today he will have a meeting on Leaders Dialogue at the UN Capital Development Fund ( UNDCF) offices.
It makes public and private finance work for developing countries through finance models that unlock public and private resources, especially at the domestic level, to reduce poverty and support local economic development.
“As of yesterday, Monday 25th April, Malawi joined other countries kick-starting the 2022 United Nation ( UN) Economic and Social Council ( ECOSOC) Forum for Financing Development,” he said.
Chilima added that they started the week with a meeting that tackled and discussed Financing the Sustainable Development Goals ( SDGs) with a focus on recovery and building back better after Covid-19.
